Additional Warranty Terms
- Corrosion and paint damage caused by material defects or workmanship issues are covered under the “full vehicle warranty.”
- The starting iron battery is included under the “full vehicle warranty.”
- The warranty period for original DENZA charging equipment (if applicable), including AC charging connection devices, plug-and-discharge electrical connection devices, charging box units, and charging gun units, is 1 year from the vehicle delivery date.
- Warranty does not apply to any complimentary gifts provided with the vehicle. The warranty for such items follows their respective user manuals (e.g., hard disk, vehicle accessories). If no manual is provided, a standard warranty of 6 months or 10,000 km applies (e.g., SD card for driving recorder, tire repair fluid), starting from the vehicle delivery date.
- The air conditioning refrigerant warranty period is 1 year (covering refrigerant leakage caused by non-hardware failure), starting from the vehicle delivery date.
- The warranty period for various types of oil follows the first “inspection or replacement” period stated in the maintenance schedule in the DENZA Owner’s Manual. The warranty will automatically end once this service is due or has been performed.
- Replacement parts installed under warranty due to product quality issues are covered until the end of the original parts warranty period.
- During the warranty period, if the owner changes the vehicle usage from non-commercial to commercial or vice versa, the warranty period will remain based on the original agreement registered at the time of purchase from an authorized DENZA dealer.
- If the traction battery or drive unit requires warranty repair, DENZA may repair, replace, or provide refurbished/reconditioned parts at its sole discretion. Replacement may not restore the vehicle to “like new” condition. However, when replacing the traction battery, DENZA ensures that the replacement battery has at least the same energy capacity as the original before failure, considering factors such as vehicle age and mileage.
